Arsenal set to bid for Real Madrid playmaker, Marco Asensio

Arsenal has finalized it’s arrangements to make a sensational move to sign Real Madrid playmaker, Marco Asensio.

According to Spanish sports website, Diario Gol, reports that Arsenal boss, Arsene Wenger is interested in activating Asensio’s £72m release clause, but faces competition from the likes of Manchester City and Barcelona.

According to the report, the player is said to be aware of the interest and has demanded talks with the Madrid hierarchy next week in a bid to decide his future.

Asensio is keen to remain at the Bernabeu, but feels he deserves a better deal given his performances and the level of interest in him from across Europe

The 21-year-old star enjoyed a superb breakthrough season with the European champions last time out but is believed to be in a contract dispute with the Spanish giants.
